So this is in Amsterdam. In the background is a windmill that was my big point of reference. I got lost in Amsterdam more than in any other city. Thankfully the city isn't all a mundane grid, but it did add to navigation issues. Also with street names like "Korte Leidsedwarsstraat", "Kattenburgergracht Wittenburgergracht", and "Oudezijds Voorburgwal" it's really hard to keep a sence of direction. Names like "Main" or "First" or "Oak" would have helped me. I used my compass to head north, and just kept looking for this windmill. When I found it I new I could find my way back to Camping Zeeburg.
