York, the capital of the north for nearly 2000 years. The 13th century city walls are said to be some of the best preserved in Europe. There's been a lot of peoples involved in York, The Romans, Hadrain, Danish Vikings, Anglo-Saxons.

The structure in the background here is York Minster, Europes largest Midieval cathedral. The first cathedral on this site was a wooden one built in 627 AD. Since then there have been many rebuildings because of invaders or fires, but no matter how much I ramble on about the history, it was the organ that caught my attention. I strolled into town around churchtime on a sunday, and the organ was hella boomin, I stopped outside the cathedral and just listened for a while. The organ just seemed to ring out throughout the town, with totally natural echo, definately not the digital sound.

Then I got over it and went to McDonnalds for a couple sausage McMuffins.
