This is a train bridge crossing the Daugava River into Riga. Just south of It I crossed the Salu bridge which had a similar look, but also had a big isolated sidewalk/bikelane with a lot of kids making the long jump into the river. Suddenly I had gone from quiet countryside to a metropolitan city (population 794,286)
