Estonia was wonderful. Instead of following the coast up to Talin, then going back and forth to Narva, as I had originally planned, I looped eastward from Riga, thruough Tartu and along the west coast of Lake Peipsi to the land of the Old Believers. The economy didn't seem too boomin' along Lake Peipsi, but that did mean cheap accomodations for me. Lots of beautiful folling forrests. Finally I made it to my destination, the Russian Border. When I got there it was starting to rain, and getting late. I didn't want to make a scene, and I wasn't sure if I could be taking a picture of the bordercrossing, so I took a quick picture, and headed west to find lodging. I found a hotel, but It was kind of pricey. I kind of felt like treating myself, since I had made my journey with 6 weeks to spare, but the hotel just seemed pricey, but not all that. A few more miles down the road I found a wonderful bungalo with a bed and a view of an orchard. Onward to a hostel that saved me, and finally to Tallin, to a campground that had a biker bar named Route 66.
